The juice craze has officially made its way to the South, and the owners of Magasin Café are leading the way as they celebrate the grand opening of their new concept, The Pressery, a raw, cold-press juice bar specializing in organic and vegan juices, milks, popsicles and light fare. This week the Pressery doors officially opened!

The Pressery was conceived by the owners of Magasin Café, third-generation restaurateurs who are passionately dedicated to bringing the flavors of their Vietnamese heritage to the New Orleans community. The menu features organic, vegan juices made from raw greens, root vegetables and fresh citrus as well as coconut water and milks (like almond and coconut). The shop will even feature kid-friendly options and cold-press popsicles. Pre-packed organic, vegan meals from Magasin Kitchen such as brown rice spring rolls, and occasionally dishes like mango + kale salad from Seed, will be available for customers that want to eat healthy on the go.
“My family has been juicing my whole life,” said Kim Nguyen, owner. “We incorporate Asian culinary traditions and natural remedies that I thought would make a great product to share with our Magazine Street clientele. We also wanted the space to be minimalistic and inviting while integrating sustainable practices such as using reusable glass bottles, instead of plastic, and biodegradable packaging made from recycled materials.”
The Pressery is located at 3005 Magazine Street in the former La Divina Gelateria location.
