Going to Greenwich

So crazy how much good one little getaway can do for the soul... With the intention of silencing the sirens and subway rumbles of the city, I escaped to Greenwich, Connecticut for a day. Walking the quiet streets and simply slowing down for just a couple hours did my mind wonders. A little retail therapy and a decadent meal (washed down with a mint julep) made for the perfect springtime escape from the noise and the bustle of Manhattan.
