It's so amazing how a big city like Manhattan is surrounded by so many great summery beach destinations. In New York City we really do get the best experiences out of all seasons, and summer is no exception. One of the easiest to get to is Rockaway Beach, just a short ride on the A train and you're surrounded by sand, a beautiful boardwalk, and tons of great bars and restaurants. Grab a fish taco, a few watermelon cocktails, and just post yourself under a bright umbrella - it's fantastic!
